OLD FOGHORN Barleywine Style Ale ANCHOR BREWING

bass electric hangs in corner
all wires live and working all the pots and plugs original
at bat daughter Masters homeruns in SLP
rounds the bases and heads for new dugouts
bass player bops a new beat
reading teaching new songs, well known songs
to those a'walking near the path a step or two
off the path or beside the path
rattles and noises keep noising
blank cds dvds
black wires wrap and hold all things
together
              electronically
                                       visceral
                                                      base

Old Foghorn feels warm and smooth and sweet in
front lips candied malt sweetness
middle mouth tongue feels the carbonation
swells in malt sugar and low rides the alcohol
laden with sweet malt the flowery hops
leave hints in the cheeks
caramel aroma subtle hops or am i imaging it
have previous reviews skewed my taste and senses???
could'st be
yet finish with malts again a swell mouth feel just short of
a chew.....an invite to taste again
this is a homerun a basic elemental beer

many thanks to the Anchor Brewery for NOT
discontinuing this beer
